A lower bound approach is proposed for the first time to solve the macroscopic yield lociof porous materials.The results are then compared with Gurson’s upper bound yield loci and those ofthe experiments.It is shown that the present analysis is much more in accordance with the experimen-tal results than the Gurson’s.
