Hot Wire in Wall Proximity

Abstract

1. Summary Experiments were carried out on the behaviour of hot wires near conducting walls. They include tests in laminar and tubulent flows, wind-off response and rotation tests. Special attention was given to the calibration procedure at low velocities and, finally, a new method to determine the wall distance was developed.
