Bibliography of the Application of Probability Methods in Power System Reliability Evaluation 1977-1982

Abstract

This paper presents a bibliography of selected papers on the subject of power system reliability evaluation. It includes material which has become available since the publication of the two previous papers, "Bibliography of the application of probability methods in power system reliability evaluation,"IEEE Power Apparatus and Systems, vol PAS-91, pp 649-660, 1972, and vol PAS-97, pp 2235-2242, 1978. Several publications omitted from the second of these bibliographies are included in this extension. There has been considerable activity in the development and application of probabilistic techniques for power system reliability evaluation since the two previous bibliographies were published in 1972 and 1978. The IEEE Subcommittee on the Application of Probability Methods has maintained an updated bibliography and in view of the interest expressed in this material; it was decided to publish a further extension. The authors gratefully acknowledge the contribution and valuable comments of all members of the APM Subcommittee.
