In article number 2008130, Dong-Hwan Kim, Hongfang Liu, and co-workers summarize the fundamentals and latest advances in functional materials for electrochemical sweat sensing. Structure–activity relationships between materials and sensing capability are systematically discussed. This work inspires efforts to further fine-optimize sensor structures for the design and fabrication of more advanced electrochemical sweat sensors.
