Concrete is one of the most commonly used materials in building construction and thus it is important to investigate its properties. For these purpose four different types of lightweight concrete has been produced by using different amount of zeolite used as an aggregate. The zeolites were obtained from around the Goldes town of Manisa province in Turkey. The ultrasound velocity, compressive strength, Schmidt hardness, flexural strength and elasticity module of those concrete have been measured. Ultrasonic velocity increases with increasing amount of zeolite, compressive strength, Schmidt hardness, flexural strength and elasticity module decreases depending on the amount of zeolite. Key words: Zeolite, aggregate, lightweight concrete, physical properties, mechanical properties.
