Four brachiopod species collected from the Upper Permian Mizukoshi formation are described as1 1r5ig(KEYsERNG)6iZ(von BucH) and Lro4cf1s(WAAGEN) These occur from a bed about 300m above the Li01zo71imestone Some comments are also given on the comparison of the fauna with the identical or closely related faunas from other parts of Japan and related provinces
