Pigment Epithelium-Derived Factor Peptide Promotes Corneal Nerve Regeneration: An In Vivo and In Vitro Study

Abstract

The 44-mer showed in vivo and in vitro corneal neurotrophic abilities. Our results suggest that intrastromal injection of 44-mer into the corneal stroma may have a potential role in treating diseases related to corneal nerve damage.
