IoT Based Remote Patient Monitoring System

Abstract

Remote Patient Monitoring is one of the most demanding studies these days in IoT healthcare applications. As growing many things in IoT Healthcare Applications is very useful for people but in rural areas peoples faced problems to get professional services of healthcare due to lack doctors, hospitals, and long distance from city. In this situation to over come issues of health Remote Patient Monitoring is best solution. In this paper we proposed an IoT based real time patient monitoring system which is using Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) for messaging also used to transmit Electrocardiogram ECG from proposed app to web server with real time data. Doctor can access ECG data using his smart phone or desktop computer. Proposed app has been tested in public and private (LAN and WAN) both network environments. The Proposed app result is showing there is no loss of data package and error of packets in both LAN and WAN networks.
