Impact of aging on phenotype and prognosis in IgA vasculitis

Abstract

Aging negatively impacts the severity and outcome of IgAV in adults. Younger patients have more frequent joint and gastrointestinal involvement, while old patients display more frequent severe purpura and glomerulonephritis.
