In the present study, extracellular synthesis of iron oxide nanoparticles (FeNPs) was achieved byAspergillus flavus isolate D05.The biosynthesized iron oxide nanoparticles have been widely favored because of biodegradablity, low toxicity and highly reactive surfaces. IONPs were synthesized through the reduction of aqueous Fe3+ ions. The obtained iron oxide nanoparticles were characterized by UV-vis spectroscopy, Fourier transforms infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), and Transmission electron microscope (TEM). TEM image of iron nanoparticles synthesized byAspergillus flavus sp. showed 28-33 nm sized particles.
