Abstract

Here, we preliminarily demonstrate the effectiveness of an innovative and cost-effective AmB-NLC formulation in promoting the killing of intracellular <i>L. braziliensis</i>. This novel carrier system could be a promising alternative for the future treatment of cutaneous leishmaniasis.
