This paper demonstrates 300 GHz terahertz wireless communication using CMOS transmitter and receiver modules targeting beyond 5G (or 6G). In order to support OFDM, a self-heterodyne architecture is introduced, which effectively cancels inter-carrier-interference due to phase noise in multi-carrier modulation. Besides, to extend communication distance, the high-gain antenna of a 40 dBi Cassegrain antenna is designed. As a proof-of-concept, the paper successfully demonstrates real-time video transfer at a 10 m communication distance using 5G based OFDM at the 300 GHz frequency band.
