Low Skeletal Muscle Mass Is a Risk Factor for Aspiration Pneumonia During Chemoradiotherapy

Abstract

Pretreatment low SMI predicts development of aspiration pneumonia and is a strong negative prognostic predictor for OS in patients with HNSCC undergoing CRT.
