A novel integrated precast concrete (PC) structural system, which maximizes instead of minimizing the interaction between the PC sandwich cladding panel and main structure, is proposed through the introduction of U-shaped dampers. To systematically validate the feasibility and reliability of this system, a full-scale PC wall-frame substructure equipped with an energy dissipation PC sandwich cladding panel, as well as two dampers, were tested under the pseudo-static load. A refined simulation method is proposed and validated. The damage evolution mode, energy dissipation capacity, and failure mode of such a structure are identified, providing a foundation for further investigation of such structures.
