Vaquitas (<i>Phocoena sinus</i>) continue to die from bycatch not pollutants

Abstract

These findings support the conclusion that bycatch is the primary source of vaquita population decline and emphasise the need for stronger measures to eliminate gillnets from the Upper Gulf of California, Mexico.
