Here, an ultrasensitive surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor based on angular interrogation using antimonene and BlueP/MoS 2 heterostructure is proposed. Antimonene is used as an interacting layer for analytes due to its higher binding energy for analyte adsorption. BlueP/MoS 2 enhances the sensitivity by manipulating charge transfer to metal/dielectric interface. Sensitivity for the proposed SPR is analyzed by tuning the number of heterostructure, as well as antimonene layers for wide range of refractive index. Highest sensitivity of 198.4°/RIU is achieved for three layers of BlueP/MoS 2 . Results show significant sensitivity for proposed design in comparison to conventional and graphene based SPR sensor. Proposed SPR sensor can be successfully developed as SPR chip for biomolecule/analyte detection in visible range.
