Barriers and facilitators to participate in the colorectal cancer screening programme in Flanders (Belgium): a focus group study

Abstract

Several common and some group-specific barriers and facilitators appeared to play a role in the decision to participate in the CRC screening programme. In order to improve informed decision making and participation in the CRC screening programme in Flanders, the options of more GP involvement, targeted information events, and adapted reminder letters are currently being explored.
