Abstract

Normal-weight individuals with metabolic unhealthy status are at higher risk for cardiovascular diseases than obese individuals with metabolically healthy status. The genotype frequencies of obesity-risk allele AA of <i>FTO</i> gene were higher in obesity phenotypes than metabolic phenotypes.
