PET-guided repeat transsphenoidal surgery for previously deemed unresectable lateral disease in acromegaly

Abstract

This study provides proof of concept that Met-PET/MRCR can be helpful in the evaluation of residual lateral sellar/parasellar disease in persistent acromegaly and facilitate targeted revision TSS in a subgroup of patients.
