Host range and susceptibility to <i>Toxoplasma gondii</i> infection in captive neotropical and Old‐world primates

Abstract

Our results suggest a higher susceptibility of neotropical primates to toxoplasmosis. However, this study also supports the hypothesis that Sapajus apella may be naturally resistant.
