Our findings suggest that Canada's fragmented health care model has a detrimental effect on health care providers' ability to recommend and ensure access to antenatal Tdap vaccine. Lessons from this study are pertinent to the implementation of successful pertussis vaccine programs and future pregnancy vaccination initiatives.
