Carbon-doped In2S3is a photocatalyst for converting CO2–H2O to C2H4without any sacrificial agents. Carbon doping can enhance water adsorption/dissociation and CO2activation and decrease energy barriers of forming CH* intermediates, resulting in high selectivity.
