<i>A. indica</i> demonstrated the highest cercaricidal and alduticidal activities in vitro, whereas <i>V. amygdalina</i> exhibited the most potent aldulticidal activity in vivo. This study could provide baseline information which can be used to develop plant-based alternative commercial drugs against <i>S. mansoni</i>.
