Comparative effects of technical‐grade and formulated chlorantraniliprole to the survivorship and locomotor activity of the honey bee, <scp><i>Apis mellifera</i></scp> (L.)

Abstract

This study provides evidence for the effect of long-term exposure of chlorantraniliprole on the survivorship and locomotor activity of honey bees. Bees receiving a more field-relevant short-term exposure survived and moved similarly to untreated bees, reiterating the relative safety of chlorantraniliprole exposure to adult honey bees at recommended label concentrations. © 2020 Society of Chemical Industry.
