CD103<sup>+</sup>CD8<sup>+</sup> T cells might be a useful marker to predict prognosis and therapeutic efficacy for gastric cancer patients. Efforts to increase intratumoural CD103<sup>+</sup>CD8<sup>+</sup> T cell frequency might be a novel therapeutic strategy in gastric cancer.
