Homomorphic Encryption is not a widely used encryption technique because it has a lot of drawbacks. It is very slow in performance and lacks efficiency. This makes its application difficult and inefficient. Ways to improve the performance of homomorphic encryption by realizing fully homomorphic systems has been in vain. Furthermore, additions to the encryption through different cryptosystems have done little to increase its efficiency. This paper talks about a method of applying homomorphic encryption in its existing state of characteristics to provide location privacy at run time. This is done in companionship of Global Positioning System which uses satellites to work out the coordinates of the user's location.
