Abstract

The <i>Vitellaria paradoxa</i> nut triterpene-rich extract suppressed proinflammatory mediators and attenuated the cartilage degradation and pain in osteoarthritis with an obesity rat model. As such, <i>Vitellaria paradoxa</i> nut triterpene-rich extract can be used as an alternative for osteoarthritis treatment.
