Estimating prevalence and incidence of skin cancer in Germany

Abstract

In this study, we defined epidemiological measures according to the number of patients affected by skin cancer and having a medical consultation indicating a need for treatment. These results can serve in future research as a data basis for analysis of health service demand in skin cancer patients and the associated costs.
