Agriculture is considered as one of the most important economic activities in India. About two-thirds of the Indian population is dependent on agriculture directly or indirectly. Automation has played an important role in recent days in many day to day activities. So, the main focus of this project is to build an automated system which will not only minimize the working cost but also minimize the time for digging and seed sowing operation. Solar energy is being used to charge the battery, which, acts as a power source to DC shunt motor, Arduino and other components. An Ultrasonic Sensor is placed in the front side of the Agribot (agricultural robot) to detect obstacles present so that the Agribot can change its path accordingly. The instructions to Agribot are given using mobile application with the help of Internet of Things (IoT). Further, the working of the developed Agribot is tested in different fields and observed to be very accurate.
