Abstract

The frequency of hvKP was low, but overall, the prevalence of virulence-related genes was higher in hvKP than cKP. HvKP was not related to specific serotypes. Furthermore, hvKP isolates were more susceptible to antimicrobial agents compared to cKP isolates.
