The effect of preoperative stoma training for patients undergoing colorectal surgery in an enhanced recovery programme

Abstract

Preoperative stoma training can reduce length of stay and could be employed routinely for patients who are planned to have colorectal surgery. Such training can be incorporated within ERAS pathways.
