H018 AN EFFICIENT COMPACT OMNI-DIRECTIONAL AIR GUN ARRAY FOR THE VALHALL 4D/4C SEISMIC SURVEY Abstract 1 An air gun source array comprising Annular Port Air Guns and a DigiSHOT™ digital source controller has been successfully deployed on the Valhall 4D/4C seismic survey in the North Sea. The source grid on Valhall comprises 50 000 shots on a 50 metre by 50 metre grid which results in a nearly uniform distribution of source-receiver offsets and azimuths.
