Real-world Comparison of Afirma GEC and GSC for the Assessment of Cytologically Indeterminate Thyroid Nodules

Abstract

GSC reclassified more indeterminate nodules as benign and improved the specificity and PPV of the test. These enhancements appear to be resulting in fewer diagnostic surgeries.
