A unique 2D structure of Ti<sub>3</sub>C<sub>2</sub>/TiO<sub>2</sub>/1T-MoS<sub>2</sub> composite with double metallic co-catalysts Ti<sub>3</sub>C<sub>2</sub> and 1T phase MoS<sub>2</sub> nanopatches is achieved and it exhibits high photocatalytic H<sub>2</sub> evolution activity with a rate as high as 9738 μmol g<sup>−1</sup> h<sup>−1</sup>.
