This study demonstrates that SST<sub>3</sub>-agonists activate signaling mechanisms that reduce NFPT cell viability and inhibit pituitary tumor growth in experimental models that expresses SST<sub>3</sub>, suggesting that targeting this receptor could be an efficacious treatment for NFPTs.
