Abstract

SIRT1 activation reduces apoptosis of IECs <i>via</i> the suppression of endoplasmic reticulum stress-mediated apoptosis-associated molecules CHOP and caspase-12. SIRT1 activation may be a potential therapeutic strategy for UC.
