Gut microbiota of CRC patients disrupted intestinal barrier, induced low-grade inflammation and dysbiosis. The altered gut microbiota enhanced the progression of intestinal adenomas in Apcmin/+mice, suggesting that a new strategy to target gut microbiota against CRC could be noted.
