Regional Structural Hippocampal Differences Between Dementia with Lewy Bodies and Parkinson’s Disease

Abstract

DLB patients showed atrophy of the hippocampus and parahippocampal gyrus compared to PD patients with a differential involvement of the head and body of the hippocampus. Further studies should examine if these group-based findings can be used to differentiate both disorders on an individual level.
