Inadvertent Perforation of a Gravid Uterus During Laparoscopy

Abstract

Surgical planning of the gravid patient undergoing laparoscopic surgery should include demarcation of the most superior aspect of the uterine fundus, either via physical examination or, if not conclusive, via preoperative or intraoperative ultrasound.
