Preoperative periodontal treatment and its effects on postoperative infection in cardiac valve surgery

Abstract

This study's findings suggest that preoperative periodontal treatment can improve oral health status surrounding CVR surgery and could be the contributor of the reduction in the risk of postoperative infection.
