Epidemiology of dermatophytosis in northeastern Iran; A subtropical region

Abstract

As the findings indicated, <i>T. mentagrophytes</i>/<i>T. interdigitale</i> species complex had the highest prevalence, and <i>T. benhamiae</i> appeared to be a new emerging agent of dermatophytosis in Mashhad, northeastern Iran.
