Among US adults awaiting LT, significant race/ethnicity-specific disparities in LT outcomes were observed. Despite evaluating an era after implementation of the Model for End-Stage Liver Disease, ethnic minorities continue to demonstrate a lower probability of receiving LT, and significantly higher risk of death post-LT in African Americans.
