Abstract The syntheses and structures of the three silver dodecahydrododecaborates: AmAgB 12 H 12 , Am(AgL) 2 Ag(B 12 H 12 ) 2 , and (AgL) 2 B 12 H 12 (Am = benzyltriethylammonium, NBzlEt 3 ; L = acetonitrile) are presented. The silver cations are connected to the B 12 H 12 2− cages by single or double hydrogen bonds to give chains, layers, or a three‐dimensional connection, respectively. For comparison, it is also reported on the syntheses and structures of the dodecabromododecaborates (AgL′) 2 B 12 Br 12 (L′ = acetone) and Am 2 B 12 Br 12 .
