Difluoroalkylation of Carbonyl Compounds with (1,1-Difluoroalkyl)silane Derivatives

Abstract

Difluoromethylation and 1,1-difluoroalkylation of carbonyl compounds were achieved by using (difluoromethyl)- or (1,1-difluoroalkyl)silane derivatives in the presence of fluoride or alkoxide ion source.
