Highly Efficient and Recyclable Polymer-Bound Catalyst for Olefin Metathesis Reactions

Abstract

Polymer supported ruthenium alkylidene catalysts 6 and 8 have been prepared and for the first time applied to cross metathesis reactions with electron deficient alkenes. These robust complexes are re-usable, highly active and tolerate a wide variety of functional groups.
