Abstract

Abstract The absolute stereochemistry of bruceines D, E and H has been confirmed to be 1 S , 5 S , 7 R , 8 R , 9 R , 10 S , 11 R , 12 S , 13 R , 14 R , 15 R and additionally 2 S for bruceine E by a combination of 2D nmr [ 1 H‐ 1 H and 1 H‐ 13 C (one‐bond and long‐range) COSY] nOe and cd spectroscopic analyses.
