Abstract

Three bromopyrrole alkaloids (1–3) were isolated from the acetone extracts of Didiscus oxeata during chemical and biological investigation of Caribbean and Indo-Pacific marine sponges. The structures were established by spectroscopic methods. Mukanadin D (3) was obtained for the first time as a naturally-occurring C 11 bromopyrrole alkaloid.
