Enantiomeric excesses of up to 99% have been obtained in Heck reactions of cyclic olefins with (phosphanyldihydrooxazole)Pd catalysts [Eq. (a)]. In contrast to analogous (BINAP)Pd-catalyzed reactions, essentially no isomerization of the products by CC bond migration is observed.
