Subphthalocyanines: Preparation, Reactivity and Physical Properties

Abstract

The synthesis and characterization of a variety of subphthalocyanines and subnaphthalocyanines are reported. The isomers of several trisubstituted subphthalocyanines were separated by HPLC. The physical properties of subphthalocyanines are investigated and their use as novel targets for NLO applications is discussed.
