Abstract

Murrayaquinone-A, one of the carbazolequinone alkaloids isolated from Murraya euchrestifolia HAYATA(Rutaceae), was prepared starting from 1, 2, 3, 4-tetrahydrocarbazol-4(9H)-one in good overall yield.
